The zip allows you to remove the fiber in order to make it softer or firmer making it the perfect pillow for you. 

Simply unzip the pillow and place the balls in a bag, wash the casing, shake the bag to aerate the silicone balls, return the balls to the quick-drying casing and voilà‘ your pillows are hygienically clean and plumped up, just as new! Unlike your conventional sewn up pillow which can take days to dry. Plus you can either add or take out the balls to suit your pillow firmness needs. This product has been a firm favorite with the hotel industry for many years.
